2. Customer information

2.1.

When you make an inquiry, fill out a contact form, sign up for a newsletter or the like on the website, as part of a possible communication, buying and selling process, we collect the personal and company information that you provide us e.g. name, company, VAT no., address or contact details to be able to handle your request in the best possible way. We also save the personal information in our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system to ease any new requests from you in the future.

In general, personal information or personal data is any kind of information which to some extent can be attributed to you and personally identify you.

2.2.

Only with your explicit permission, we may send you marketing emails about our business, new products and other service updates.

2.3.

Furthermore, when you browse on the website, we also collect information about your conduct on the website to customize and improve our content on the website and to enhance the user experience. The information may also be used to increase the value of our online ads.

We automatically receive your computer’s IP (internet protocol) address to provide us with information that helps us learn among other things about the specific type of browser and operating system that is used. If you do not want this information to be collected about your conduct on the website, you should delete the cookies in your browser and refrain from further use of the website. However, it may affect your user experience on the website.

In §6, we have elaborated which third-party service providers, we use, and in the cookie section §8, we have elaborated what kind of information is collected on the website, its purpose and which kind of authorized third-party service providers that might have access to it.

When you provide us with personal information in a communication, buying or selling process, we imply that you consent, we collect your information and use it for that specific reason, only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason e.g. marketing, we will either ask you explicitly for your expressed consent or provide you with an option to say no.

We may disclosure your personal information if we are required by law or if you violate our terms and conditions and legal actions must be taken. Disclosure of your personal information otherwise will only happen if you consent to it. We only use data processors in the EU that can provide your information sufficient protection.

However, data about your conduct on the website such as clicks, geographic location, gender, age segment etc. that cannot identify you personally is disclosed to third-party service providers of whose tools we use to track this information. You can read about which third-party service providers that are involved in §8.3. and to what extent the information is used.

Furthermore, we use third-party service providers for storage and processing of data. These third-party service providers solely process the data on our behalf and may not use the information for their own purpose. This is secured with a third-party data processing agreement.

5. Website platform

5.1.

www.spicatech.dk and www.spicacontrols.es are hosted at one.com via WordPress. www.spicacontrols.com is hosted at one.com via DynamicWeb. A third-party service provider that provides us with the online platform that allows us to communicate about our business, products and services to you.

Your data is stored through WordPress’ and DynamicWeb’s data storage, databases and the general WordPress- and DynamicWeb applications. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

6. Third-party services

6.1.

In general, the third-party service providers used by Spica Technology will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services that they provide to us. This is secured with a third-party data processing agreement.

However, third-party service providers have their own privacy policies in respect to the information that we are required to provide to use their services.

For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies to be able to understand the way your personal information will be handled by these providers. We use these third-party service providers which have been carefully chosen:

Please remember that certain providers may be in or have facilities that are in a different jurisdiction than you or us as owners. This means, if you select to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

8. Recruitment

8.1.

At Spica Technology we store data from our applicants through external storage providers that all store data according to GDPR Compliance.

For open vacancies and unsolicited applications:

All our applicants can at any time withdraw their consent by writing an email to: hr@spicatech.dk, with their request. After 6 months we send all applicants an e-mail reminding that we are about to delete the data. However, if you wish us to further store your data in our HR-system, you need to explicitly send us your consent by e-mail to: hr@spicatech.dk.

9. Changes to this privacy policy

9.1.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website.

If our company is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to offer our services and products to you.
