Ernströmgruppen joins Spica Technology: New long-term partnership established
SILKEBORG, DENMARK | Spica Technology has joined forces with Ernströmgruppen AB, which has acquired 80% of our shares. For Spica, this marks the start of an exciting new chapter with a long-term partner that shares our passion for innovation, sustainability, and creating the best solutions for our customers in the wind industry. Ernströmsgruppen has existed for more than 100 years, and is currently run by the fourth generation of the family-owned company. They develop and grow niche businesses by focusing on sustainability and innovation. They have divided their investments into areas, where Spica now belongs to their Automation & Electricification.
While this new-established partnership will help Spica grow and evolve, nothing will change in the way we work, who we are, or what we stand for. We are still the same Spica you already know, operating out of Silkeborg and delivering reliable and innovative electrical solutions to the wind industry.
As a part of Ernströmgruppen’s Automation & Electrification business area, Spica will have the opportunity to collaborate with other like-minded companies and strengthen our offerings. This means we will be even better equipped to meet and support our customers’ needs.
