At Spica Technology we have gathered engineering, production and software development under one roof at our head office in Silkeborg, Denmark. That ensures strong and reliable solutions with a built-in consistency.
Spica Technology has a workshop where prototypes and small scale serial production takes place. When a product is ready for high volume production, the customer usually takes over the production, or we recommend skilled sub suppliers.
Test facilities
In our workshop we are able to simulate and test electrical parts and panels for e.g. wind turbines. We can simulate generator cut-in and out, in a real life environment with grid voltage of 400 or 690V (100 kVA).
We also have extensive signal generators and equipment including live signals from various wind instruments mounted outside on our meteorology station.
Subsidiaries
Spica Technology has local sales and technical support offices named Spica Controls in both Denmark and Spain with the purpose to be close to our international customers.
Spica Controls offers a great product range for wind turbine equipment, counselling for customised solutions and technical support.
