Nordic wind power contacted Spica Technology because they needed a custom-made control system for their 1 MW one-bladed wind turbine. The tower panels had to be able to go through the door in the tower. This special feature gave the designers a challenge as the dimensions of the cabinets where max 120 x 240.

One year after Spica delivered 12 custom-made wind turbine control systems, that where built directly into the cabinets and ready to be installed as a plug-and-play solution.
