We are proud to announce that Spica Technology has been officially certified to ISO 9001:2015, audited and approved by DNV on 11 June 2026. The certification scope involves development, design, assembly, testing, and delivery of customised electrical systems, including SCADA panels for wind turbines.
ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for quality management systems. Achieving certification requires an independent audit of the entire organisation regarding processes, documentation, risk management, and the ability to consistently deliver to customer requirements.
What the auditor found
During the audit, DNV observed a well-established and well-structured quality management system across the organisation. Several areas were specifically highlighted as strengths.
Risk management
Our risk assessments were noted as thorough and well-documented, with clear action plans and prioritisation in place – supporting active management of identified risks and opportunities.
Stakeholder analysis
Our stakeholder analysis was carried out at a high level and was recognised as forming a solid foundation for the organisation’s strategic focus.
The wingman principle
DNV identified our wingman principle as a clear organisational strength. It reduces key-person dependency and drives systematic knowledge sharing across all functions.
System implementation
Our quality management system (SQS) was found to be well embedded across the organisation – from production to administration – with employees at all levels able to access and apply relevant documentation.
